Babywearing

My cousin is expecting her first child in May. Her and her husband are very excited and have already started buying baby clothes and accessories. They have even went so far as buying a stroller. I am going to suggest that they look into buying a baby sling. For those of you that do not know, baby slings are pieces of cloth that support a small child from a carer's body. The use of slings is called babywearing because when carrying a baby in this way it looks almost as if it is part of the wardrobe. It looks a little odd to begin with; however, this method of carrying a baby is becoming more popular and is even being recommended by specialists. Babywearing with a sling helps recreate the feeling of being contained in the womb for the baby. It also reportedly helps reduce crying and colic, enhances learning, and helps organize and regulate baby behavior. Not only does it provide these benefits, but it also allows you to carry your child and still have both hands free to perform other tasks. I am going to suggest that my cousin check out babysling.com. They have stylish, high-quality baby carriers, slings, and wraps. They carry all the major brands, such as hotslings, organized by price, style, or baby age. I definitely think this is the way to carry a baby, and I am going to introduce my cousin to it.
